 6,000MT electrolytic copper started.

 A second double-contact sulfuric acid plant was put into operation.

 Expansion work for production up to 20,000MT of
 electrolytic copper per month began.
 The No.2 reverberatory furnace , gypsum plant and the No.3 tank house
 were put into operation.

 Use of waste tires as substitute fuel began.

 Fuel of reverberatory furnaces was converted to coal.
