Copper smelter is equipped with furnaces , electric precipitator
and wet absorbers to prevent impurities in ores from giving harmful effect to environment. Furnace can treat the waste in high temperature above 1300,the electric precipitator can remove harmful particle and dust,the wet absorber(in acid plant and gypsum plant)can remove SO2 in off gas.So the waste can be treated safely.Dioxin is produced very little because the waste is treated in high temperatures above 1300 and also treated with SO2 gas. |
