Basic Philosophy

MMC Superalloy Corporation (hereinafter called as "our company") meet the needs of the society as a manufacturer, and will contribute to the peace of human beings, prosperity of the society and our irreplaceable Earth environment through manufacturing essential materials and products. We will always be fair and honest in developing our business.

Based on this philosophy, we believe we make efforts in preserving our environment, saving our resources, promoting energy saving, promoting material and thermal recycling, and thoroughly preventing pollution. We must try to reduce stress on the environment, and need to contribute to the society, the Earth and human beings.

Environmental policies

1. We recognize the environmental issues as global and eternal issues. Each of our employees tries his best in environmental preservation and improvement.
2. We comply with the environment regulation and other requirement by the national and local governments.
3. We implement environmental education and training for all our employees to improve their awareness for the environment and try to promote preventive activities . We actively participate in environment preservation activities in the local community to fulfill our role as a member of the local community.
4. We recognize environmnetal issues as our prior issues. Therefore we strive for continuing improvement of environment management system through organizing system for continuing measures. Furthermore, we set the purposes and goals concerning environment improvement which we plan, implement and review.
5. We continue to improve our performance of items which may potentially give substantial impact on the environment along with our busines activities.

Emphasized themes concerning environment

• Reduction of energy consumption (gas, oil, electricity, city gas, etc.)
• Risk reduction by upgrading chemical substances management
• Promoting greening as environment conservation in the local community
• Reduction of natural resources (materials) consumption
• Industrial waste reduction
• Implementing environment repairs

We set goal figures on the above items in our annual plan for improvement.

6. We announce these environmental policies to our all employees and demand their full understanding as well as making public announcement.
