Environmental issues such as climate change are now pressing challenges that have become unavoidable for each and every person on earth.
Increasing average temperatures, melting snow and ice, and rising sea levels are already being observed across the globe, while extreme temperatures, heavy rains, hurricanes and other weather events are causing damage and impacting both agriculture and broader ecosystems.
As we seek solutions to these global-scale challenges, we must take action quickly and face these environmental issues head-on, in part by reducing emissions of the greenhouse gasses that cause climate change.
At Mitsubishi Materials Europe B.V., we will earnestly face these environmental issues, and proactively engage in a range of initiatives such as mineral resource recycling in Europe, which is an environmentally developed region, in order to fulfill our Commitment as a part of the Mitsubishi Materials Group: "For people, society and the earth, circulating resources for a sustainable future."
We will also build resource circulation networks within Europe for E-Scrap, copper scrap, tungsten, lithium-ion batteries, and more, while contributing to a sustainable society.
At Mitsubishi Materials Europe B.V., we have begun our endeavor to earnestly face environmental issues, think critically, and create new value.
